Kawika has private students from all parts of the world. Many are of black belt or equivalent rank, several operate their own schools.

Private lessons serve two purposes - extra instruction for full-time students who want to progress faster and receive in-depth one-on-one instruction from the Headmaster, and for instructor level students who seek "post-graduate" work in the higher levels of the martial arts or in arts with which they are unfamiliar.

Those interested must fill out an application, include a statement of their intentions, and attach a resume.

These classes will be available on a limited basis only and each applicant must complete a personal interview with the Headmaster before a decision is made.
